Best budget: Addiko Gotovinski kredit.
Best for large amounts: Zagrebačka banka Gotovinski kredit.

Six Croatian personal loans appear below, ranked by representative APR, rate structure, borrowing ceiling, and access conditions. This site is a comparison service, not a lender; applications are completed with the provider.

Rates and terms shown are representative. Your actual rate depends on your credit profile and circumstances. This is not financial advice — always read the lender's terms before applying.

Comparing Croatian personal loan terms

Lowest APRs, with different levels of risk

The lowest headline rate is not always the cheapest borrowing cost. OTP's combined-rate offer reaches a 4.98% representative APR, while Addiko advertises a striking 2.95% nominal rate but a 6.00% APR. That gap is the useful warning here: compare APR, not the large number on the rate banner.

OTP Banka Gotovinski kredit

OTP has the strongest cost profile in this comparison if you can accept rate uncertainty after year three. According to OTP Banka's website, fixed rates run from 4.99% to 6.39%, with representative APRs from 5.11% to 6.59%; the combined option starts at 4.39% and lists a 4.98% APR. There is no arrangement fee, online contracting is available through OTPgo, and borrowing can reach $40,000 equivalent over 120 months. The important qualification is structural: after three years, the rate becomes 3-month EURIBOR plus a 3.63% margin. That may reduce the initial cost, but it makes later payments less predictable than Erste or RBA's fully fixed structures. OTP also states that amounts above $30,000 equivalent require income paid into OTP. Best for an existing or willing-to-switch OTP customer who wants the lowest representative APR and can tolerate benchmark-rate exposure.

Addiko Gotovinski kredit

Addiko reverses the usual headline-rate story: its 2.95% fixed nominal rate looks unbeatable, yet the listed 6.00% APR is higher than OTP's 4.98% combined APR and RBA's 5.11% fixed APR. Per the Addiko Bank Croatia product page, the loan reaches $50,000 equivalent over 120 months, is available to customers of all banks, and does not require a guarantor, deposit, or down payment. The 2.95% rate is restricted to applicants without an existing Addiko loan, so an existing customer may not receive the advertised figure. That eligibility detail matters more than the marketing headline. Addiko also does not provide a combined-rate alternative, so borrowers get a simpler fixed-rate structure but no chance to trade early savings for later benchmark exposure. Best for a borrower banking elsewhere who needs up to $50,000 equivalent and wants to avoid transferring income or arranging a guarantor.

Addiko is the better access story; OTP is the better APR story. The surprising result is that the lowest nominal rate does not produce the lowest representative APR. Borrowers should request the repayment schedule and total amount payable before treating either headline as decisive.

For the official terms, compare OTP Banka's cash-loan page with Addiko Bank Croatia's personal-loan page.

Headline interest rate versus total borrowing cost

Fixed payments and digital access

A fully fixed rate can be worth more than a slightly lower opening figure if your household budget has little room for surprises. These four products also show how much eligibility depends on the borrower's existing banking relationship.

RBA Gotovinski kredit

RBA is the cleanest fixed-rate alternative to OTP's combined structure. According to RBA's published terms, new borrowing is listed at 5.00% fixed with a 5.11% APR, up to $40,000 equivalent over 120 months, and without an arrangement fee. Refinancing receives a materially higher 6.00% rate and 6.16% APR, so this ranking applies to new borrowing rather than replacing an existing RBA loan. Online contracting is available through mojaRBA, but the access conditions narrow at larger amounts: RBA states that income must be paid into the bank for amounts above $15,000 equivalent. The supplied product material also references customers of all banks and a $50,000 ceiling, so applicants should confirm the current amount and eligibility screen before applying. Best for a borrower who prioritizes payment certainty, already meets RBA income conditions, and is taking a new loan rather than refinancing.

Erste Bank Gotovinski kredit

Erste charges more than OTP or RBA on the available figures, but its proposition is uncomplicated: a fixed rate for the full term and online contracting through George. Erste's disclosed representative APR is 6.07% according to the bank's key-information page, with borrowing up to $40,000 equivalent over 120 months and no processing fee. The trade-off is access. An Erste current account is required, and the rate depends on the applicant's relationship with the bank. That makes this less attractive for someone prepared to switch banks solely for a lower APR, especially since OTP's combined APR is 4.98% and RBA's new-loan APR is 5.11%. Existing Erste customers may still value the familiar application route and predictable repayment. Best for a current Erste account holder who prefers a fully fixed loan and wants to complete the process digitally without an arrangement fee.

Zagrebačka banka Gotovinski kredit

Zagrebačka banka is the practical pick when $50,000 equivalent matters more than securing the lowest APR. ZABA lists loans from $1,500 to $50,000 equivalent over 13 to 120 months, with no processing fee and online access through m-zaba. Its standard option is 5.69% with a 5.85% APR, while the insured option lowers the nominal rate to 5.19% but raises the APR to 6.70%. That contrast is a useful cost lesson: insurance can reduce the stated interest rate while increasing the all-in borrowing cost. For $40,000 to $50,000 equivalent, ZABA requires income to have been paid into the bank for more than 12 months, and the final term depends on credit risk. Compared with Addiko, ZABA offers a clearer choice between insured and uninsured structures but does not beat Addiko's 6.00% APR on the supplied figures. Best for an established ZABA customer borrowing near the top of the available range who wants a fixed rate and no collateral instruments.

PBZ Nenamjenski kredit

PBZ sits in the middle of the field, with a temporary pricing window and a meaningful difference between its insured and standard versions. PBZ lists a promotional fixed rate from 4.78% through September 30, 2026, but the representative APR ranges from 6.21% to 6.97% with life insurance; the standard version lists rates from 5.48% to 6.18% and APRs from 5.62% to 6.36%. The bank allows up to $44,000 equivalent over 120 months, offers online contracting through PBZ mobile banking, and charges no processing fee. A PBZ current account is required. The promotional date is the detail most likely to be missed: this is not a timeless rate promise, and the lower nominal rate does not automatically produce the lower APR. Compared with ZABA, PBZ offers a slightly lower maximum amount but a similar fixed-rate framework. Best for an existing PBZ customer applying before the stated promotional deadline who prefers digital servicing and wants to compare insured versus standard repayment costs.

Fixed-rate borrowers pay for predictability in different ways. RBA has the lowest listed fixed APR among the straightforward new-loan offers, Erste emphasizes a familiar digital process, ZABA handles the largest borrowing ceiling, and PBZ adds a time-limited pricing window. None is universally cheapest once account requirements, insurance, and the applicant's relationship with the bank are included.

Official details are available from RBA, Erste Bank, Zagrebačka banka, and PBZ.

Choose OTP if the 4.98% combined APR and no-fee structure outweigh the risk of a EURIBOR-linked rate after three years. Choose RBA for a fully fixed new loan, Addiko for up to $50,000 equivalent without moving your banking relationship, and ZABA when the borrowing ceiling is the deciding factor.
